Assess once, not over and over
Generated from templates for typical trades and adapted per site. Approval is recorded by the database with person, role and timestamp — not by the editor. A change creates a new version; the old one is kept as superseded.
Instructed means understood
Content drawn from the risk assessment, presented in the language of the person being briefed. Signing is done with a finger on the tablet; the record states which language version was shown and whether it had been reviewed.
The deadline speaks up before it expires
Every qualification and every recurring inspection with an expiry date. For occupational health checks, status and date only — the database permits nothing more.
Fix defects, don't hunt for culprits
Checklist on the phone, defect with a photo and the person responsible for clearing it. There is deliberately no field for who caused it: that would be performance and conduct monitoring, and it would stop people reporting honestly.
